Pemmican Bison Dark - Mitsoh

In true Cacaoworks fashion, we chose to challenge the chocolate status quo, and bring you a a bar you won't find anywhere, our Pemmican Bison Bar!

Chocolate (cacao) has been used for a long time in Hispanic cultures for sauces like Mole, so naturally we saw an opportunity to make a bar that would naturally work with both traditional Indigenous food as blueberry pemmican, and our chocolate!

Partnering with Mitsoh, the first Indigenous company in history to bring traditional Indigenous food back to the modern world that is Canadian-made and Elder approved. 

This bar blends our Peruvian Maranon 65%% base with Mitsoh's blueberry pemmican strips, made from Bison, tallow, real blueberries and Canadian Maple Syrup. We add extra in house fresh saskatoon berries and maple sugar to this to bring out a sweet and smoky bar that will challenge your beliefs of what chocolate CAN be. 

A bold bar, but we invite you to try this combination and realize a TRUE superfood bar that combines pure, natural ingredients with Indigenous tradition will be a bar never encountered before.
